Celebrating women on International Women’s Day and every day

The RSM US team in India celebrated International Women’s Day with an action-packed, high-energy events, kicking off the day with a Zumba session attended by 100+ women colleagues and their family members, including children and parents.

Scores of colleagues also entered our “Women – The Multitasker” photo contest, aimed to celebrate and acknowledge the daily juggle of multiple responsibilities of women. Congratulations to Nipun Garg, Aditi Mangal and Neeraja Menon for being recognized as our contest winners!

The campaign theme for International Women's Day 2022 is #BreakTheBias. Whether deliberate or unconscious, bias makes it difficult for women to move ahead. Knowing that bias exists isn't enough. Action is needed to level the playing field.

This theme resonates with Kate Seitz, RSM US partner and leader of RSM’s STAR employee network group, which focuses on promoting stewardship and teamwork, resulting in the advancement and retention of RSM’s women. Kate said, “The past two years have been trying times for everyone. Despite the challenges, I am uplifted by the grace and allyship our group members and supporters have extended to each other. I have abiding faith in the resilience, determination, and grit I see day to day in our women as we all contribute to a brighter future.”
