Scott Durham is a senior state and local tax manager in the Kansas City, Missouri, office and a devoted husband and proud father of three. He and his wife, Anne, are raising Charlie (12), Max (10) and Kate (8) in a home where family, faith and togetherness are at the center of daily life. While balancing the demands of client service and the daily hectic pace of parenthood, Scott embraces every opportunity to be present for his family. Whether cheering from the sidelines at a soccer game, helping coordinate a busy family schedule or creating traditions that strengthen family bonds, Scott strives to be there for the moments that matter most.
The Durham family’s calendar stays full year-round, with all three children participating in competitive soccer and both boys also playing basketball. Between practices, games and school commitments, Scott and Anne depend on teamwork, planning and a strong support system to manage the busy pace of their family’s schedule. For the Durhams, these activities are more than a packed schedule—they are a way of life that reflects their shared commitment to showing up for one another.
For Scott, fatherhood is also about prioritizing quality time rooted in dedicated support, lasting connections and meaningful shared experiences.
One of the family's favorite traditions is celebrating each child's 10th birthday with a special one-on-one trip with mom and dad. Both Charlie and Max chose Dana Point, California, for their milestone adventures, while Kate is already dreaming of where her own trip might take her. When there is a break in the schedule, Scott and his family enjoy spending time close to home, attending Mass and embracing the opportunity to slow down and appreciate everyday moments together.
Family remains Scott's greatest source of pride and motivation.
