Areas of focus: Generations Employee Network Group
Daniel is the national leader of RSM’s Generations employee network group (GEN), which provides RSM employees with enrichment through connections across all experience levels and lines of business. A member of our GEN since its beginning, Daniel has played an active role in facilitating training workshops on Generations IQ at both the local market and national level within the firm.
Summary of experience
Daniel has been part of the RSM team since August 2004 holding various roles across the talent function including leadership positions in talent acquisition, human resources, learning and professional development, and talent management. Passionate about training, development and coaching, he has served as an instructor at a number of national line of business training conferences. In 2009, he started teaching as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business, where he was recognized with the Robert H. Smith Top 15% Teaching Award in January 2010.
Daniel is committed to community service outreach and has led a number of RSM-related events at the Maryland Food Bank, including initiating the “Take a Bite out of Hunger” annual giving day. In 2008, he was recognized by RSM with a National Achievement Award for his community service activities and involvement. In 2015, he was recognized by RSM as the national Career Advisor of the Year through the firm’s National Achievement Awards Program.
Daniel is a graduate of Loyola University Maryland where he attained his Bachelor of Business Administration in 1999. Additionally, he completed his SPHR certification in January 2011 and SHRM-SCP certification in May 2016. He is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management and Chesapeake Human Resources Association.

Its mission is to promote all dimensions of diversity through fostering a culture of respect and understanding among multiple generations that coexist within the firm. It provides employees with opportunities through national and local market programming aimed at GEN Next, GEN Experienced and GEN Graduating and through collaboration events referred to as GEN Connects.
