CHICAGO – (April 4, 2023) – Great Place to Work® and Fortune magazine have once again recognized RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of assurance, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – as one of its 100 Best Companies to Work For®. RSM ranked No. 42 on this year’s list, making it one of the best companies to work for in the country. This is the third consecutive year RSM has been named to this prestigious list.
The 100 Best Companies to Work For® award is based on analysis of more than 879,000 confidential survey responses and data from companies representing more than 6.1 million U.S. employees. In that survey, 93% of RSM’s people said RSM is a great place to work, as compared to 57% of employees at a typical U.S.-based company.
RSM’s people noted the firm’s people, culture and flexibility among the top factors making the firm a great place to work. RSM’s childcare and other dependent-care reimbursement, its Modern Health benefits platform, expansion of several work-life balance policies, launch of an Excellence Academy to boost professional skills among college students from underrepresented communities and flexibility were also highlighted.
“We are honored to be recognized for the third consecutive year as a Great Place to Work by Fortune magazine and Great Place to Work,” said Brian Becker, managing partner & CEO for RSM US LLP. “At RSM, we understand that all of our people want to work in an environment where their unique contributions are recognized and where diversity of thought is welcomed and encouraged. We are thrilled that our people have once again named us to this important list and are committed to continuing our unwavering focus on building RSM’s unrivaled, inclusive culture and talent experience.”
The 100 Best list is highly competitive. Great Place to Work, the global authority on workplace culture, selected the list using rigorous analytics and confidential employee feedback. Companies were only considered if they are a Great Place to Work-Certified™ organization. Other companies joining RSM on this year’s list include Bank of America, Cisco, HubSpot, MasterCard and more.
Great Place to Work For® is the only company culture award in America that selects winners based on how fairly its people are treated. Companies are assessed based on how well they are creating a great employee experience that cuts across race, gender, age, disability status or any aspect of who employees are or what their role is.
“Fortune is pleased to have collaborated once again with Great Place to Work to recognize the 100 Best Companies to Work,” said Fortune Editor in Chief Alyson Shontell. “We congratulate all the organizations included in this year’s ranking for creating positive work environments and value for their employees, especially during this period of economic uncertainty.”
In addition to this most recent recognition, Great Place to Work® and Fortune named RSM one of the 2022 Best Workplaces for Women and one of their 2022 Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services and one of their 2022 Best Workplaces for Millennials.
