Fortune Names RSM One of its 100 Best Workplaces for Millennials

CHICAGO – (July 27, 2022) – RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – was recently named to the Fortune 2022 Best Workplaces for Millennials list.  

RSM joins other prominent organizations, including Bank of America, Comcast NBCUniversal, Dell Technologies, Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants, Robinhood, Salesforce and others on this year’s prestigious list.

According to Fortune, on the heels of the “great resignation,” competition is high for top talent and employers can no longer ignore the needs and desires of the workforce. The companies on this year’s Best Workpalces for Millennials™ list are doing one thing better than the rest – fulfilling Gen Y’s need for a sense of purpose in the workplace.

The 100 best companies represent the best large workplaces for millennials. The list is determined using Great Place to Work’s For All methodology to evaluate and certify thousands of organizations in America’s largest ongoing annual workforce study, and based on more than 1 million employee survey responses, representing more than 6.1 million employees, this year alone.

The survey enables employees to share confidential quantitative and qualitative feedback about their organizations’ culture by responding to 60 statements on a five-point scale and answering two open-ended questions. Collectively, these statements describe a great employee experience, defined by high levels of trust, respect, credibility, fairness, price and camaraderie. In addition, companies provide organizational data like size, location, industry, demographics, roles and levels.

To determine the Best Workplaces for Millennials™ list, Great Place to Work measures the differences in more than 413,000 millennials’ survey responses to those of other generations and assesses the impact of demographics and roles on the quality and consistency of their experiences. Statements are weighted according to their relevance in describing the most important aspects of an equitable workplace to millennials.

To be considered for the list, companies must be Great Place to Work-Certified™ and have at least 50 millennial employees in the US. Data is normalized to compare companies fairly across sizes and industries. Companies with 50 to 999 people are considered for the small and medium category; companies with 1,000 employees or more are considered for the large category.
