The RSM US Foundation awards 10 community college students with up to $10,000 each in scholarships as they pursue a bachelor’s degree in business or technology. The award is paid $5,000 annually over two consecutive academic years and students are invited to an RSM information session.

How to apply

  • Save a copy of your unofficial transcript
  • Craft a short statement (500 characters or less) on what motivates you to pursue a degree in accounting, business or technology
  • Create a 30-60 second video – original content only – that demonstrates which of RSM’s 5 C’s (Caring, Curious, Collaborative, Courageous, and Critical Thinking) comes most naturally to you

Scholarship timeline

  • Applications accepted March 1 until April 30 annually
  • Selections made in May annually
  • Payments made to recipients' universities prior to the start of the upcoming academic year

Eligibility

Qualified applicants are legal residents of the 50 states and Washington, D.C., who are at least 18 years old. This current calendar year, they must graduate with an associate degree in business or technology from a community college, have a minimum 3.0 GPA and will attend a four-year college or university by the fall.

All applications require a video. Please only use original content – capture only yourself, selfie-style, not other people, photos, music, videos, or unoriginal content. Keep it simple! Failure to follow video guidelines may render your scholarship application ineligible.

Any person who has received a scholarship or other aid in prior years of this program or a similar program of the RSM entities or RSM US Foundation is not eligible.
