Tom Falkner leads RSM US LLP’s Florida state and local direct and indirect tax practice. He has more than 10 years of experience advising clients on state tax planning, controversy and transaction matters.
Tom focuses on state and local direct and indirect tax matters for a wide array of middle market businesses, including consumer products, professional services, insurance, manufacturing, construction, real estate, hospitality, software and health care.
He has over a decade of experience in state and local income and non-income mergers and acquisitions tax, including due diligence, structuring and pre- and post-sale risk mitigation for private equity sponsors and large corporate clients. Tom serves as the firm’s Florida state and local tax desk.
Tom also enjoys reading, running and fishing.
