Experience

Rebekuh Eley joined RSM US LLP in 2019 and serves as the national tax-exempt health care industry leader and Great Lakes tax-exempt organizations practice leader. Rebekuh has 20 years of experience advising tax-exempt organizations.

Rebekuh concentrates on tax issues affecting tax-exempt organizations including the complex rules governing exempt status and 501(r), excise taxes, unrelated business taxable income, joint venture structuring, intermediate sanctions, private inurement, lobbying and political activities, compliance and information reporting, alternative investments, charitable gifts, ASC 740 (FIN 48) documentation, and tax controversies. She also works with RSM’s family office clients.

Rebekuh is a frequent speaker at various national forums including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Illinois CPA Society, Healthcare Financial Management Association, National Association of College and University Business Officers, and The Central Association of College and University Business Officers. In addition, she has written several articles and participates on webcasts related to relevant exempt organization tax issues.
