When Tredegar Corporation decided to implement a new HCM platform, the company selected Dayforce and initiated an internal implementation project.
However, about 12 months into the implementation, Tredegar determined they needed additional resources internally and externally to make it a success.
“We had been working with RSM on our previous payroll platform and they were working to extract the data, and we had a couple of incredible consultants helping us with that data reconciliation to bring onto the new platform,” says Seckora. “We decided to tap into the RSM consultant group and see if they had a subject matter expert for Dayforce.”
The experienced, Dayforce-certified RSM team was able to step in and provide several critical specialists for Tredegar’s Dayforce implementation, including a project manager, consultants with deep Dayforce implementation and integration experience, and professionals who could train end users on the new system. Seckora shared that because of RSM’s support and the resulting efficiencies, Tredegar ultimately saved nearly $500,000 and finished the implementation process on time.
Seckora feels that the RSM team was a key component of the project’s success. “If I had not had RSM by my side, we would not have been successful in the time frame we needed to meet,” she says. “I feel very strongly about that. The addition of RSM and adding the project management consultant into the mix turned things around, so we knew we could see the light at the end of the tunnel and be successful.”
