CHICAGO – (April 11, 2022) – Great Place to Work® and Fortune magazine have honored RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – as one of this year’s 100 Best Companies to Work For®, coming in at No. 40. Earning a spot on this prestigious list means that RSM is one of the best companies to work for in the country.
The 100 Best Companies to Work For award is based on analysis of more than 870,000 confidential survey responses and data from companies representing more than 6.1 million U.S. employees. In that survey, 92% of RSM’s people said that RSM is a great place to work, as compared to 57% of employees at a typical U.S.-based company.
“We are so grateful to our dedicated people who create the unrivaled culture that has enabled us to be part of this prestigious list once again," said Joe Adams, managing partner and CEO with RSM US LLP. “At RSM, we understand the importance of creating an inclusive workplace where all people feel valued, and we know that it’s our people who make working at RSM a truly special experience every day. We celebrate and thank them for all they do.”
The 100 Best list is highly competitive. Great Place to Work, the global authority on workplace culture, selected the list using rigorous analytics and confidential employee feedback. Companies were only considered if they are a Great Place to Work-Certified™ organization. In addition to RSM, other organizations included on this year’s list include Bank of America, Cisco, FedEx, Salesforce and T-Mobile, among others.
Great Place to Work is the only company culture award in America that selects winners based on how fairly its people are treated. Companies are assessed on how well they are creating a great employee experience that cuts across race, gender, age, disability status, or any aspect of who employees are or what their role is.
“Best Companies’ leadership has never been more necessary,” said Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work®. “As workers struggle with the Great Resignation, burnout and Covid disruptions, these exceptional companies offer workplace experiences as strong as prior to the pandemic. These companies understand that ‘place’ is wherever their employees are sitting or standing, and they are committed to making that place equitable, safe and productive. Their commitment to genuinely caring for their people through trust, inclusion, purpose and meaningful flexibility for life circumstances goes beyond surface-level perks and is a model for the market to follow.”
In addition to this most recent recognition, Great Place to Work® and Fortune named RSM one of the 2021 Best Workplaces for Women™, and Great Place to Work® included RSM on its 2021 lists of Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services™, Best Workplaces in Texas™, Best Workplaces in Chicago™ and Best Workplaces in New York™.
