RSM recognizes National Disability Employment Awareness Month


National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) kicked off on Oct. 1. Observed each October, NDEAM celebrates the contributions of workers with disabilities, and strives to educate others about the value of a workforce inclusive of the skills and talent of all workers, regardless of their abilities. At RSM, we understand that diverse teams that include those with different abilities allow us to represent the best decisions and knowledge for our clients. And, as a result, we sponsor a number of employee initiatives as well as community activities to further awareness and participation in a fully inclusive workplace and community.

While RSM focuses year-round on diversity and inclusion in the workplace, our Abilities Employee Network Group (ENG) encourages its members and the rest of RSM’s 10,000 people nationwide to pause during NDEAM to reflect on the importance of embracing in the workplace including those who might be differently abled.  

At RSM, our people – regardless of their abilities – truly are our most important asset.
