About Taylor

Taylor Desy is a supervisor at RSM US LLP, where her specialty is creating relationships with clients and assisting them in achieving their goals using her audit and accounting insights. Based in Philadelphia, Taylor was selected to serve a two-year term in the firm’s CEO Action for Racial Equity Fellowship program, beginning in September 2022. In this role, she works with fellows from other firms to identify, develop and promote scalable and sustainable public policies and corporate engagement strategies to advance racial equity and improve societal wellbeing.

Experience

Taylor has more than six years of assurance experience working in various industries including business professional services, technology and software, telecommunications, health care, and nonprofits.

Taylor is involved with the firm’s employee network groups (ENGs) and is passionate about promoting inclusion and intersectionality in the workplace through events and networking. As the market leader for our Pride ENG, she organizes events in the office and community to help connect LGBTQ+ employees and allies by making our people feel understood, included, and valued. It is through her involvement with Pride that she was selected to represent RSM at the Out & Equal Workplace Summit and RSM’s internal Quorum Conference. She was also selected for Pride’s EmPOWERment program, which helps our people discover their strengths and build their networks while embracing the firm’s brand promise—the power of being understood.

With a passion for personal and professional development, Taylor has built her leadership skills by participating in our African American and Canadian Excellence (AACE) ENG’s Emerging Leaders Program and continuing to develop those skills alongside other high-performing female peers through our STAR ENG’s Success Series Program. In 2021, she was awarded the CDI IMPACT Award for Innovation.

She has also participated in the firm’s Birdies Fore Love campaign, where she helped raise funds for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
