Neil Chander has over 25 years of experience leading the tax functions of large public and institutional real estate organizations, including real estate investment trusts (REITs), pension and sovereign wealth funds, and publicly listed companies. He is a member of RSM’s international real estate tax practice.
Neil advises on the tax implications of real estate investments in Canada, the U.S., Europe, Asia and other jurisdictions. Neil’s experience includes structuring, due diligence and planning. He is passionate about driving transformation and automation, finding innovative ways to improve operational efficiencies and add value for clients.
Neil frequently presents on international real estate taxation at events such as the American Bar Association and TP Minds International.
