RSM’s Pursue Your Passion Program Helps Employees’ Dreams Come True

CHICAGO – (February 22, 2024) – RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the leading provider of assurance, tax and consulting services for the middle market – recently recognized nine of its people with $90,000 ($10,000 each) and nine paid days off to pursue their dreams through the firm’s Pursue Your Passion program. 

 In celebration of the firm’s 90^th anniversary in 2016, RSM launched Pursue Your Passion to encourage its people to apply for the chance to pursue their passions with support from the firm – including monetary assistance and paid time off. The program was such a success that the firm has continued the program each year since, with a team of employees and owners from across the firm selecting winners annually.

Our 2024 Pursue Your Passion winners are: 

• Hank Cary (location services manager; Denver) – Pursuing his passion of becoming a D1 college football referee. 
• Marisa Gelsomino (assurance manager; Toronto) – Taking the trip of a lifetime with her family at an abilities-inclusive resort.
• Jon Hawkins (enterprise risk manager; Atlanta) – Completing his dream of becoming a helicopter pilot. 
• Ashley Hendrickson (talent acquisition lead; Minneapolis) – Following her life-long passion of traveling to England for an Anne Boleyn tour. 
• Aleksandra LaBossiere (manager, tax service offerings; New Hampshire) – Exploring the cosmic wilderness of Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park. 
• Joesph Olalusi (public sector senior associate; Chicago) – Supporting local community through the development of community gardens. 
• Heather Sikora (CPC lead; Omaha) – Completing training at one of the top embroidery schools in London. 
• Sanja Thakur (solutions architecture director; Washington, DC) – Pursuing his dream of creating his own woodworking shop.
• Tamra Walker (executive assistant manager; Dallas) – Bringing her passion to the local community by obtaining a Pilates certification.
