Matt Riccio is a business development director in RSM US LLP’s real estate and construction industries and is a certified public accountant. He was selected for the firm’s Industry Eminence Program in 2022 as a senior analyst covering the real estate and construction industries, working alongside the firm’s economists and other program participants to analyze industry trends shaping the landscape for middle market businesses. Matt is based out of RSM’s New York City office.
Matt brings 17 years of professional accounting and finance experience working in public and private organizations within the real estate industry. He spent more than a decade as an assurance professional focused on real estate and construction, and four years as a controller for a real estate developer and director of finance for an institutional asset manager. Matt has worked to satisfy both national and international reporting requirements.
As a business development director at RSM, Matt leads the origination of new business and client relationship management across sectors within the real estate and construction industries. He is skilled at developing relationships, expanding networks and facilitating social marketing. He specializes in working with asset managers, real estate investment trusts, hospitality groups, developers and owners of real estate organizations.
