CHICAGO – (January 21, 2019) – RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – was recently named one of America’s “Best Employers For Diversity” for 2019 by Forbes.
Forbes worked with research firm Statista to determine the definitive list, which recognizes companies for their commitment to diversity. The companies were identified in an independent survey from a vast sample of more than 50,000 U.S. employees working for companies employing at least 1,000 people within their U.S. operations. The rankings were compiled using four different criteria: direct recommendations; indirect recommendations; diversity among top executives/board members; and diversity key performance indicators (KPIs).

For the evaluation, employees were asked to give their opinions on a series of statements surrounding the topics of age, gender equality, ethnicity, disability, LGBTQ+ and general diversity concerning their own employer. Additionally, participants were given the chance to evaluate other employers in their respective industries that stand out either positively or negatively with regard to diversity.
