Recruiting RSM careers

The RSM US Foundation awards talented and promising accounting, business and technology students annually. We are honored to support students in alleviating the financial burden of funding their education so they may focus on achieving their goals—in school and beyond.  Marc J. Ramirez, former scholarship recipient and current RSM associate, shares the impact of this scholarship opportunity of his educational and now professional career.

The Power Your Transition scholarship helped with during my time in college, as I was able to pay for books, supplies and other needs without having to use my credit card. I really appreciate the financial support the scholarship gave me; it lifted some of the financial burden school can bring while providing for a family.

I am grateful to have attended an event at the local RSM Boston office that hosted students from Bunker Hill Community College. This opportunity led me to not one but two internships with RSM, my first being extra special as I was the only intern from a community college.

Now as an RSM associate, I can say the connection I have made with RSM has undoubtedly changed my future. I have been able to earn security for my family and I, which is all I ever wanted when I went back to school at 30 years old. I am extremely proud to be a representative for community college students here at RSM and I hope to help build bridges for more students to experience the same opportunities I have.

I encourage all community college students interested in accounting to apply for the Power Your Transition scholarship. It is an opportunity to earn a scholarship by advocating for yourself in your own voice, which is incredibly powerful.
