VALOR employee network group

Encouraging the success of our veterans and military service members

Our VALOR (Veterans and Allies Leading Outreach) employee network group (ENG) encourages the recruitment, retention and success of veterans, active/reserve military members and their families within RSM and local communities. VALOR provides many resources to support the development of these individuals, while leveraging their skill sets to serve our clients.

VALOR supports and promotes advocacy for its members in their RSM and military aspirations. Members keep one another apprised of news and opportunities, and support employees still serving in the military when they’re deployed. VALOR supports local, regional and national activities to provide professional development, leadership skills, networking, business development and more to its members.

RSM partners with Hiring Our Heroes, connecting the firm to veterans and spouses with varied experience. Through this partnership, we have access to a fully funded fellowship program, which offers a 12-week opportunity for military spouses and veterans to gain hands-on experience and receive professional development support.

The VALOR ENG also partners with Folds of Honor to provide scholarships to families of military heroes who were disabled or lost their lives during their service.

RSM remains committed to becoming a military-ready and friendly organization, ensuring veterans and spouses receive the support they need to thrive in the civilian workforce.
