William applies over 20 years of progressive financial services and fund experience to help private equity and asset management clients manage complex technical accounting and reporting responsibilities, fund consulting and administration needs, policy and procedure development, and accounting and reporting needs throughout the life cycle of their operating and fund entities.
Early in his career, William worked at a Big Four firm, where he specialized in financial services, private equity and hedge fund audits. In 2007, he began working with a top 10 global fund administrator, where he assisted in leading and building out the financial and regulatory reporting practice for both hedge and private equity funds for over 10 years. William later joined a large global asset management firm, where he served as the head of business partnering, planning and performance for the Americas region, leading the coordination of cross-functional collaboration of operating and fund practice lines. He left this role in 2020 to lead RSM’s TAC practice for financial services and co-lead the launch of RSM Fund Services+.
William enjoys coaching and mentoring younger professionals and finding ways to position them to learn, grow, and be passionate about their roles. Outside of work, he and his family enjoy exploring the great outdoors, believing strongly that nature is a great way to stay grounded, especially in a digital world.
