For more than 20 years, Ty has provided tax compliance and planning services to a variety of private and corporate middle-market clients, including individual and business tax planning and corporate and partnership taxation. His clients include businesses in manufacturing, real estate, and professional services as well as their owners. Ty also works closely with RSM’s tax advisory specialists consulting on M&A engagements to advise clients on tax due diligence, partnership and joint venture transactions, taxable transactions, partnership special allocations, elections and calculations, and tax-free reorganization.
Along with his role as a client advisor, Ty leads the firm’s Tax Functional Lead (TFL) program guiding the development of future and current client relationship leads while also serving as an instructor for continuing professional education courses. He is a frequent guest speaker of the investment and finance communities where he covers topics related to corporate transactions and tax considerations.
