About Tandilyn

Tandilyn Cain has over 10 years of experience working with ultrahigh net worth clients on various aspects of tax and financial planning. She joined RSM US LLP’s Washington National Tax team to focus on thought leadership and more complex planning in the trust, estate and gift tax areas. Tandilyn also has an extensive background helping clients with cash flow planning, retirement assets, and equity compensation.  


Experience

Tandilyn is passionate about helping clients reach their wealth transfer goals in the most tax-efficient manner possible. She has experience with individual income tax, gift tax, estate tax, fiduciary income tax (including unique state income tax issues), generation-skipping transfer tax, family offices, life insurance planning and equity compensation. Through extensive time spent working with individuals, trusts, family offices and other clients across many industries, she has developed the skills necessary to serve a multitude of clients from many different backgrounds. Tandilyn also enjoys being an adjunct professor at a local community college, where she can help to mentor the next generation of accounting professionals.
