Nicole focuses on advising multistate businesses regarding complex state and local tax matters. She works collaboratively with clients to achieve their business objectives by identifying and implementing state tax planning opportunities, identifying statutory credits, managing timelines, ensuring compliance with state tax laws, and assisting with state tax controversy matters. She has experience dealing with income, franchise, and gross receipts taxes, and works with clients across a broad range of industries, including service providers, restaurants, manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, and government contractors. She has represented clients in audits involving state tax issues and assisted clients in obtaining voluntary disclosure agreements from state tax authorities.
Prior to joining RSM, Nicole was a SALT senior manager in a Big Four firm where she was a subject matter professional to clients for state tax issues.
