Nick is the Senior Manager, Audit Services for RSM US LLP. His focus is on financial services, collaborating on various teams. Nick stays extremely involved in the company by helping out with RSM’s US Foundation’s Community Impact Fund as well as facilitating internal accounting and audit training courses.
Nick works primarily with clients in the financial services industry and focuses his services on private equity funds, private credit funds, venture capital funds, fund of funds, business development companies (BDCs) and small business investment companies (SBICs). He serves private funds and public companies and has experience with both initial public offerings and follow-on capital market transactions. He has worked with investment managers ranging in size from $20 million of AUM to $15 billion of AUM.
Nick serves as a member of the RSM US Foundation’s Community Impact Fund which reviews and approves employee grant applications for charitable causes they are passionate about.
Nick also facilitates internal accounting and audit training courses and leads industry specific classes in his local office. This includes presentations on recent AICPA guidance regarding private equity and venture capital investment valuations for audit staff and local venture capital groups.
Nick has experience with audits of internal controls over financial reporting under both the 1992 and 2013 COSO frameworks. Additionally, he has worked on investment transaction financial due diligence projects.
