Michael’s industry experience includes a strong focus on private equity partnerships, fund of funds, venture capital, and financial service corporations. Prior to joining RSM in 2017, he was an integral part of a Big Four firm’s asset management tax practice.
Michael offers tax consulting and planning on fund structure, fund asset acquisitions and dispositions, plus limited partner tax issues. Michael is actively involved in current and timely legislative tax issues affecting private equity funds and other alternative investment vehicles. He has been published, interviewed by tax periodicals, and often called upon for advice on private equity tax issues across the firm.
