Mark Patterson is a senior manager in RSM US LLP’s state and local tax practice and is co-leader of RSM’s national telecommunications sector. Mark has over 25 years of state and local indirect tax experience including most recently as director of wireline transaction tax audits at a major telecommunications company.
Mark has extensive experience in the areas of business transaction analysis and planning, audit defense and appeal, tax recovery, and indirect/excise tax compliance services. He has assisted Fortune 1000, middle market and start-up clients in all business sectors, but has a focus on telecommunications clients. Throughout his career, Mark has provided value-added services to his clients through identifying and resolving tax compliance issues, analyzing refund opportunities, and managing tax risk.
