About Kim

Kim Susko is a principal in the management consulting practice at RSM US LLP, where she brings 18 years of experience related to operational and back-office functions.


Experience

Kim’s experience includes finance transformation, project and change management, business process improvement, and technology strategy and implementation. She leverages in-depth, hands-on technical capabilities, client service commitment and business acumen to create value for clients through the strategic use of technology. Her areas of focus include technology, media and telecommunications (TMT); software as a service business models; healthtech, fintech and medtech; and private equity. She serves as the national consulting leader for RSM’s technology practice, responsible for building community and aligning RSM’s services with industry go-to-market approaches.

Her engagements have included the following:

  • Led large-scale, private equity-backed company business transformation that positioned the company to scale and tuck in acquisitions quickly and efficiently. The initiative required 60+ professionals across four third-party vendors and the company’s internal teams. It included an overhaul of data governance and reporting, transformation of the renewals process, implementation of key performance indicators and reporting strategies, order-to-cash transformation, and automation of billing, revenue recognition and sales tax.
  • Led several enterprise resource planning and billing software selections for technology industry clients with complex billing issues, including solutions for subscription billing, minimums and tiered billing models, and consumption-based models.
  • Worked with several private equity firms to design scalable portfolio add-on operational strategies to drive quick and consistent value creation. Design work focused on optimizing a target operating model, business processes, data and reporting, and technology.
  • Served organizations across various industries in a wide variety of projects, including quote-to-cash transformation, financial planning and analysis improvement, revenue automation, Accounting Standards Codification 606 adoption, billing automation, and professional services and support optimization.
