As national M&A leader, Jim leads RSM’s M&A activities, including acquisitions and divestitures, that support the firm’s strategy. He works in partnership with firm leaders across lines of business, industry, markets, channels and firm-facing business units to identify segments and potential targets for investment or acquisition, and to evaluate acquisition targets and develop financial modeling.
Jim has more than 35 years of seasoned experience with RSM. Trained as an assurance professional, he has held management roles for more than 20 years, including serving on the executive management team where he oversaw the execution of strategy and operations for 31 offices in the firm’s Central and West markets.
Jim has more than 40 years of experience serving clients with assurance and business advisory services. He specializes in understanding the challenges, needs and expectations of middle market organizations, primarily in the health care, services and nonprofit industries. He has served clients with a variety of assurance, tax and business advisory services, working with C-level management teams, audit committees and boards of directors on a variety of accounting, tax and business issues.
