He is invested in the next generation of leaders at RSM and appreciates helping colleagues develop into future leaders and partners of the firm.
Jerry was an original member of the firm’s culture, diversity and inclusion (CDI) working group, helping shape the mission and direction of the firm’s CDI efforts. He is passionate about bringing diverse perspectives to the firm to broaden the scope of opinions and skill sets. He finds this pursuit extremely rewarding and critical to the firm’s success. Jerry has been active in many of the firm’s employee network groups, including STAR to support women in the firm, and Abilities to raise awareness of those with disabilities. Inspired by his participation in these groups, he has joined charitable committees and events outside the firm to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association and Autism Speaks.
When he’s not advising private equity CFOs on tax issues, Jerry indulges in his love of the law by visiting courthouses to attend and listen to civil and criminal court cases.
