Todd Faciana is a senior manager in RSM US LLP’s business tax practice, where he provides consulting services for state and local sales and use tax.
Prior to joining RSM in 2023, Todd gained multifaceted experience in state and local tax through his work in a large law firm, in Big Four and other large accounting firms, and, most recently, as a senior deputy attorney general in the tax litigation section of the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, where he settled over 200 tax appeals and successfully litigated tax appeals in the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. He is also a former certified public accountant in California.
Todd assists clients in a variety of industries with a wide range of sales and use tax services, including registrations, notice resolution, audit representation, administrative appeals, taxability, mergers and acquisitions, refund studies, and exposure mitigation. While Todd presently focuses on sales and use tax, he has extensive experience with other state and local taxes, including income, franchise, gross receipts, excise, and employment tax. He leverages that experience from multiple perspectives—accounting, law, and government—to provide comprehensive tax consultation for RSM clients.
