Further, Don was a key team member who created a one-of-a-kind industry eminence program at RSM. The program builds industry-experienced leaders to help navigate the speed and scope of the ongoing digital revolution, offering industry analysis and perspective while providing forward-looking insights tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
Don prioritizes training and talent development to strengthen the firm’s industry capabilities. He works with teams to leverage specialized knowledge to differentiate RSM in driving growth for the middle market and identifying organizational and operational tactics that achieve best-in-class status by industry. Don stays focused on the mission and vision of the firm and uses that to guide his team to advance the strategy consistently. He is known throughout the firm for his ability to navigate change and build coalitions.
In Don’s other primary role as a national private equity leader, he led the development of a successful PE practice from the ground up. He developed an integrated and holistic strategy to drive value creation for our private equity clients. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, where he strengthens RSM’s position in the private equity marketplace.
Don’s role weaves through every part of the organization, from service to sector to geography. Don is an active member of the enterprise combined leadership team, innovation steering committee, and strategic planning committee and is the executive sponsor of RSM’s PRIDE employee network group. Before his industry role, Don was the managing partner of the New York office and has functioned as an assurance partner at RSM for more than 25 years.
