His interest in working in the industry was ignited 25 years ago during his time working with an international nonprofit that assisted people in developing nations.
Originally an auditor, Billig has gained years of experience advising nonprofit organizations on protecting their tax-exempt status. His deep connections at the firm assure clients that he enlists the right people to advise on complex issues, whether the priority is generating new revenue streams or analyzing business strategies. His skills include a keen ability to translate technical business issues into easy-to-understand strategic advice.
Known best for his gregarious personality, Billig has an ability to put clients and colleagues at ease even when he is presenting in a board meeting. He is deeply invested in fostering talent at RSM and providing the next generation with opportunities to develop into true advisors.
