Ashley Zega leads the credits and incentives practice for the Southeast region within RSM US LLP.
Ashley has over 13 years of experience in tax compliance and tax accounting, with a primary focus on research and development tax incentives.
She has experience providing support for research credit claims to meet IRS and state authority requirements, assessing Financial Accounting Standards Board Interpretation No. 48, or FIN 48, adjustments for research credits; managing large tax technology projects; evaluating statistical sampling methodologies; and determining appropriate classifications for the Internal Revenue Code section 174 research and experimental expenditures deduction.
Ashley has served clients—both public and private—in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, technology, real estate, government contracting, financial services, energy, credit monitoring and protection, life sciences, and oil and gas.
