RSM Recognized as One of America’s Best-in-State Employers 2020 by Forbes
RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – has been recognized as part of Forbes’ annual list of America’s Best-in-State Employers 2020. RSM received this recognition in the state of Minnesota, where it ranked second for the professional services industry.
This prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry-ranking provider. Forbes and Statista selected America’s Best-in-State Employers based on an independent survey of approximately 80,000 U.S. employees working for companies employing at least 500 people in their U.S. operations. The surveys were administered using a series of online panels and provide a representative sample of the U.S. workforce. Direct and indirect employee recommendations were evaluated on a state level.
The study assessed each company according to atmosphere and development, company image, working conditions, salaries and wages, and diversity. Based on the results of the study, RSM is honored to be recognized as one of Forbes’ annual list of America’s Best-in-State Employers 2020.
“At RSM, we understand that our people are what make us successful, and we strive to create a workplace that is caring and inclusive, while providing development opportunities to help our people achieve their career objectives,” said Katie Lamkin, chief talent officer with RSM US LLP. “Recognitions such as this one validate our efforts, and we appreciate the role our people played in securing this accolade.”

About the Methodology:
America’s Best-in-State Employers have been identified based on an independent survey from a vast sample of approximately 80,000 U.S. employees working for companies employing at least 500 in their U.S. operations. Employees have not been consulted via their employer but anonymously through several online panels. The survey was conducted on companies from all industry sectors employing more than 500 employees. The evaluation was made on a state-by-state basis based on direct recommendations and indirect recommendations. Employees were asked 35 questions about work-related topics, and were asked to give their opinions on a series of statements surrounding work-related topics related to working conditions, salary, potential for development and company image regarding their current employers.
