Consulting Magazine Names RSM's Beth Johnson a Future Leader

RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – is pleased to announce that Beth Johnson was recently selected by Consulting magazine as a Future Leader award recipient as part of the publication's tenth annual Achievement Awards: Women Leaders in Consulting. Future Leaders are consultant leaders who demonstrate expertise beyond their years.

A principal in RSM’s technology and management consulting (TMC) practice since 2013, Johnson is the leader of the firm’s Central Region infrastructure technology practice, and one of a small number of women leading infrastructure practices in the United States. She was recognized, along with other award winners, during a November 17 awards gala at the St. Regis Hotel in New York.

“Beth’s agility is a differentiator,” said Patrick Vance, TMC principal for RSM US LLP. “She has had a multitude of responsibilities with our firm and has been successful while facing various challenges in our industry, with a work ethic that’s ‘off the charts. Beth views things through a broad lens, always using her deep understanding of our clients’ needs to bring them the right people to address their challenges.”

“Beth is very deserving of this recognition,” said Brian Becker, TMC managing partner for RSM US LLP. “She is passionate about serving our clients and also about making time to assist and develop future consulting leaders. Her knowledge and experience equip her to combine innovative technology solutions with a focus on improving overall client service.”

Johnson specializes in overseeing the delivery of a broad suite of technology-related engagements across multiple industries, including financial, manufacturing, tribal and commercial gaming, and not-for-profit.

"From the moment I began my consulting career, I knew it was the career for me,” said Johnson. “To be selected among the other 12 women with this prestigious recognition was very humbling. The women in the consulting industry are doing a great job setting the stage for other future leaders in this continuously growing industry.”

Previous RSM award recipients have included Theresa Kain Merlino (2015), principal―financial advisory services, and Tracey Walker (2011), national director―government affairs; culture diversity and inclusion. RSM has also received firm recognitions by Consulting magazine, including with the 2016 Excellence in Social & Community Investment award and in the top five in Consulting magazine's 2016 Best Firms to Work For rankings.
