The CFO Alliance provides a global community of financial leaders and experts across the country and features vibrant, bi-monthly discussion-oriented meetings and collaborations in addition to their 24/7 online networking platform, AchieveNext. The organization’s first roundtable launch meeting is slated to take place Thursday February 24, 2011 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., ET at The Coral Gables Country Clubin Coral Gables, Florida.

Dr. Dhananjay Nanda, an influential professor at the University of Miami School of Business Administration, will facilitate a discussion designed to expose how CFOs are today being recast as champions of change within their organizations while maintaining and growing their influential role with greater leadership, management, and corporate strategy responsibilities. Specific discussion points will include:

  • How to support and drive the corporate strategy
  • The CFO as catalyst for business growth
  • How to apply changing leadership skills
  • The new mandate for performance measures

Dr. Nanda and a roundtable of South Florida senior-level CFOs will discuss strategies that help members and attendees to be more successful in their roles today and long-term throughout their careers, helping them to work smarter and more effectively, with greater confidence.
