RSM McGladrey and "McGladrey" & Pullen, LLP, Launch New McGladrey Brand

National firms bring together talent and resources to strengthen lines of business and industry reach


MINNEAPOLIS – RSM McGladrey, one of the nation's largest tax and consulting firms, together with assurance partner firm McGladrey & Pullen, announced today that the two firms will now go to market under the "McGladrey" brand. Combined, the firms rank as the fifth-largest U.S. provider of assurance, tax and consulting services.

“The new McGladrey brand is a tangible demonstration of our unwavering commitment to client service,” said C.E. Andrews, president and chief operating officer of RSM McGladrey. “As evidence, over the last 10 years RSM McGladrey and McGladrey & Pullen have grown the combined business from $450 million to nearly $1.5 billion.”

Further, the firms recently realigned to focus on national lines of business and industry. The reorganization maintains the close relationships local client service teams have fostered, while bringing national expertise and resources to clients across service lines and geographies.

The new brand positioning will be promoted through an integrated, nationwide marketing campaign. New television and print advertising, featuring PGA TOUR professional and Team McGladrey member Zach Johnson with his caddie Damon Green, launched today in the Wall Street Journal and on the Golf Channel. The ads’ “Experience the Power of Being Understood℠” theme reflects McGladrey’s brand promise to understand clients’ needs, challenges and industries so they can help clients make clear and confident business decisions.

The new McGladrey brand will be introduced today with a logo-unveiling event featuring the world’s largest golf-themed cake, in recognition of the firm’s title sponsorship of The McGladrey Classic, a new PGA TOUR Fall Series event happening October 7–10 at Sea Island, Georgia.

PGA TOUR golfer and team member Chris DiMarco will participate in this afternoon’s logo-unveiling in downtown Minneapolis, where he will attempt to “ace a hole in one” on top of the putting green cake that’s the size of two double mattresses. Anyone can watch the event and the cake creation live throughout the day beginning at 6:30 a.m. Proceeds from the “Chipping for Charity” will benefit Special Olympics.
