RSM Names Murat Tasel Global Compliance and Reporting Services (GCRS) Leader
CHICAGO – (May 17, 2022) – RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – named Murat Tasel as the firm’s global compliance and reporting services (GCRS) leader.
In this role, Tasel will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team of dedicated specialists with international management expertise to deliver statutory audit and accounting services, tax and business advisory services, and outsourced financial accounting services to internationally active companies.

The GCRS team helps clients manage their compliance and reporting needs through one global relationship leader, with support from a dedicated U.S.-based team and a robust global network. The U.S. GCRS team works with more than 120 countries currently under an integrated service delivery model.
Tasel is a tax partner and has more than 30 years of public accounting experience. He has been with RSM for 18 years and is a designated Enterprise Account Leader. Tasel is also the global relationship leader for several large and complex GCRS accounts. He recently served as the national leader for the Tangible Property Services practice under the firm’s national Credits, Incentives and Methods service line.
Tasel earned a Master of Science degree in taxation from the University of Baltimore and is a certified public accountant in Maryland.
