Since joining RSM, I’ve been impacted most by our culture. I’m so grateful to work for a firm that sees the value each person brings to a team.
I am always amazed by the strength of character of our people, and how they demonstrate RSM’s values each day with our clients and each other.

CHICAGO – (September 6, 2021) – RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – recently held its 12th annual RSM Volunteer Week. Throughout the week, 4,262 RSM employees, friends and family members participated in more than 100 virtual and in-person volunteer activities across the country and in Canada to give back to their local communities.
Stewardship is one of RSM’s core values, and the firm’s annual Volunteer Week is one of the ways RSM demonstrates its commitment to community. Supporting 91 charitable organizations this year, RSM’s people, clients, friends and family members helped their communities by assembling back-to-school backpacks, packing meals for those in need, landscaping at local schools, creating pickleball courts at local Boys and Girls Clubs and other activities.
“Since our firm was founded 95 years ago, our people have been committed to supporting the communities where they live and work,” said Joe Adams, managing partner and CEO with RSM US LLP. “While our people have always been involved in their communities, formalizing an annual volunteer opportunity has enhanced the energy around our volunteer efforts, and enabled us to build relationships – with our colleagues, friends in our local communities and clients – all while supporting those in need.”
The RSM US Foundation’s Dollars for Doers program makes Volunteer Week even more rewarding by matching employees’ direct volunteer hours with dollars for charitable organizations whose missions align with the foundation’s own mission of building tomorrow’s middle market leaders.
“The RSM US Foundation is proud to support our people’s philanthropic efforts,” said Doug Opheim, RSM US LLP chief financial officer and chair of the RSM US Foundation. “Providing financial support for their investment of time on behalf of our communities is an honor.”
