Since joining RSM, I’ve been impacted most by our culture. I’m so grateful to work for a firm that sees the value each person brings to a team.
I am always amazed by the strength of character of our people, and how they demonstrate RSM’s values each day with our clients and each other.

CHICAGO – (June 24, 2021) – Owners of RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax, and consulting services focused on the middle market – recently raised more than $115,000 for charitable organizations across the country and in Canada through a virtual 5K as part of the firm’s 2021 virtual biennial owners’ meeting.
Hosted through the Charge Running app, the 5K kicked off RSM’s annual Birdies Fore Love fundraising initiative, which raises funds for children and families in need. Birdies Fore Love is the charitable giving platform for The RSM Classic, an event on the PGA Tour for which RSM is title sponsor. Through Birdies Fore Love, RSM’s people from across the country and in Canada raise funds for local charitable organizations aligned with the RSM US Foundation’s mission and the Davis Love Foundation, the host organization of The RSM Classic. The total amount raised through RSM’s Birdies Fore Love efforts are announced each year during The RSM Classic and donations are supported with matching donations from the RSM US Foundation.
The RSM US Foundation was established in 2014 as part of RSM’s giving strategy and to support the firm’s value of stewardship. A tax exempt public charity, the foundation is dedicated to building tomorrow’s middle market business leaders.
“The owners of our firm – as well as the rest of our people – really take stewardship to heart,” said Doug Opheim, chief financial officer with RSM US LLP and chair of the RSM US Foundation. “Each of our owners’ meetings includes a charitable component and, without fail, that is always one of the highlights of these meetings. From gathering shoes and backpacks to this year’s virtual 5K, these activities bring us together through a common experience that allows us to demonstrate our core value of stewardship, which we define as leaving things better than we find them.”
