RSM Names Tauseef Ghazi Security and Privacy Risk Leader

CHICAGO – (July 19, 2021) – RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – announced that Tauseef Ghazi will serve as the firm’s security and privacy risk leader.

As part of his new role, Ghazi will become a member of the firm’s risk consulting leadership team. He will focus on growing RSM’s security and privacy practice and helping RSM’s clients capitalize on the opportunities to bolster their cybersecurity and privacy programs through effectively managing risks.

The practice focuses on cyber strategy, risk and compliance, tactical security evaluations, digital forensics, data privacy and the growing considerations regarding cyber transformation and implementations. Ghazi will also oversee the firm’s managed security operations center, as well as the virtual chief information security officer (CISO) team.

Ghazi is a principal in RSM’s risk consulting practice and has more than 20 years of experience serving clients with their security and privacy needs. During his career, Ghazi has served as a trusted advisor to many boards, executive teams and audit committees on complex security issues and remediation roadmaps that are aligned with organizational and information technology strategies.

Additionally, he has led large security program implementations for middle market, Fortune 500 and publicly traded organizations. Additionally, Ghazi has authored several articles focused on cybersecurity in the energy sector, as well as representing the practice through numerous speaking engagements annually.
