As part of his new role, Shriner will become a member of the firm’s risk consulting leadership team. He will focus on growing RSM’s business risk practice and helping the firm’s clients assess and manage risk, including regulatory and compliance risk, operational risk and strategic risk.

“I’m excited to have Rick serve as our business risk leader—he brings a great vision to the role,” said John Brackett, risk consulting leader with RSM US LLP. “He has an energy and passion for serving our clients and thinking innovatively and proactively about helping them manage risk. He is a critical thinker who will help clients leverage cutting edge technologies and data to take their risk management to the next level.”

“As a profession, risk consulting is poised to evolve significantly over the next few years due to the confluence of new technologies, ways of working and delivery approaches, and I’m excited to help shepherd our practice during this new era,” said Shriner. “We will continue to drive reductions in time, cost and uncertainty within our clients’ businesses through our expansion of services and strategic ecosystems, while maintaining our unrivaled RSM client experience.”
