CHICAGO – (July 20, 2021) – RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – announced that Rick Shriner will serve as RSM’s business risk consulting leader.
As part of his new role, Shriner will become a member of the firm’s risk consulting leadership team. He will focus on growing RSM’s business risk practice and helping the firm’s clients assess and manage risk, including regulatory and compliance risk, operational risk and strategic risk.

Shriner is a principal in RSM’s risk consulting practice and has more than 18 years of experience serving large multinational clients with particular emphasis on upper middle market, Fortune 500 and publicly traded companies. Shriner has advised clients in the areas of accounting, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, forensic matters, process design and improvement, internal audit, regulatory compliance, and information technology system implementation.
Additionally, Shriner is a member of the inaugural class of RSM Enterprise Account Leaders, which positions Shriner to think holistically about clients’ needs. Shriner’s international experience includes conducting and leading audit, risk management and special project initiatives across North America, Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degree in information systems and operations management from the University of Florida. Shriner is a certified fraud examiner (CFE) and certified information systems auditor (CISA).
