RSM Names Michael Gerlach National Professional Services Sector Leader
CHICAGO – (July 8, 2021) – RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – recently announced that Michael Gerlach has been appointed to serve as RSM’s national professional services sector leader.
In this new role, as part of the firm’s national business and professional services leadership team, Gerlach will focus on growth and innovation for RSM’s professional services practice which spans multiple subsectors including architecture and engineering, consulting, legal, tax and accounting services. He will continue to execute on RSM’s vision to be the first-choice advisor to middle market leaders globally.
Michael’s deep knowledge of the marketplace and forward looking vision will help our clients continue to adapt to new and evolving needs. His unique background makes him a great fit for this role and will allow us to further demonstrate ‘the power of being understood’ by supporting our clients in innovative ways. Gerlach is a partner at RSM with more than 20 years of experience serving business and professional service firms, including law firms, consulting firms and executive search firms. He has extensive experience in advising firm leaders on best practices pertaining to operational effectiveness and efficiencies. He is a frequent speaker and author on business and professional service firms accounting topics and is a facilitator for local and national training for the firm.
