RSM Names Mark Patterson and Eliot Mitchell National Telecom Sector Co-Leaders

CHICAGO – (May 5, 2021) – RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – recently announced that Mark Patterson and Eliot Mitchell have been selected to serve as national telecom sector co-leaders.

In their new roles, Patterson and Mitchell will become members of the firm’s national technology, media and telecom (TMT) leadership team. They will be responsible for business development, relationship management and expanding RSM’s telecom thought leadership and capabilities.

Patterson is a senior tax manager in the firm’s New York office. He has more than 25 years of experience in state and local tax practice. Prior to coming to RSM, he was a director of wireline transaction tax audits at a major telecommunications company.

Mitchell is a risk consulting director in McLean, Virginia. He has an extensive background in delivering SOX compliance and internal control development services to public and private entities across technology, telecom and other industries.

Patterson earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from St. Thomas Aquinas College. Mitchell earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Tennessee.
