CHICAGO – (February 17, 2021) – RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – is pleased to announce the addition of Ken Weinberger as an HR due diligence director, supporting the firm’s transaction advisory services practice. His focus will be on HR and benefits issues arising with transactions.

Weinberger has more than 20 years of experience leading HR due diligence and post-closing integration with respect to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures for corporate, private equity and tax-exempt clients. Prior to joining RSM, he held similar roles at a Big Four accounting firm and at a number of leading HR consulting firms. He is also an ERISA attorney.
Weinberger has industry experience across multiple sectors, including manufacturing, health care, technology, chemical publishing, professional services and retail. His areas of focus have included the due diligence (carve-out) and sell side of transactions as well global HR integrations. His accomplishments include establishing new HR and benefits programs, reducing benefits and others costs, identifying liabilities, implementing retention agreements and salary adjustments, and integrating HR and benefits programs for multinational corporations.

Weinberger earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Illionois (Champaign) and his JD from DePaul College of Law. He is based out of the firm’s Chicago headquarters office.
