CHICAGO – (May 26, 2021) – RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – recently announced that Jason Alexander has been asked to serve as RSM’s national manufacturing sector leader.
In his new role, Alexander will become a member of the firm’s national industrials leadership team. He will focus on growing RSM’s manufacturing practice and assisting the firm’s clients in using technology to drive productivity and efficiency throughout their organizations. He assumed the role May 1.
“I’m excited to have Jason serve as our manufacturing sector leader,” said Sergio de la Fe, national industry leader for RSM’s industrials practice. “He’s been working in the industrials space for a long time and his deep knowledge of the market will further help our clients adapt to changes now and in the future. His varied background and significant international experience makes him a tremendous choice for this role.”
Alexander is a principal in RSM’s risk consulting practice and has more than 17 years of experience serving large multinational clients with particular emphasis on middle market, Fortune 500 and publicly traded companies. Alexander has advised clients in the areas of accounting, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, process design and improvement, internal audit, regulatory compliance, and information technology system implementation.
“I am thrilled about the opportunity to work with my colleagues and our clients in the manufacturing sector,” said Alexander. “While the past few years have presented challenges for manufacturers, from trade wars to COVID-19-induced supply chain shocks, the current environment presents the opportunity for manufacturers to reimagine their business. I think that advanced technologies will play a leading role in helping manufacturers emerge as stronger organizations long term, and I’m excited to continue helping manufacturing companies embrace these technologies.”
Additionally, Alexander was a member of the inaugural class of RSM’s three-year, cutting edge Industry Eminence Program, which positions its senior analysts to understand, forecast and communicate economic, business and technology trends shaping the industries RSM serves. He has written extensively on trends in the automotive industry, forces affecting manufacturing supply chains, the importance of advanced technologies in the future of the manufacturing industry and much more.
Alexander’s international experience includes conducting and leading audit, risk management and special project initiatives across North America, Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia. He is also on the board of directors of the RSM US Foundation. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Detroit Mercy and his master’s degree in taxation from Florida Atlantic University.
