RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – recently announced that Carlos Hernandez has been selected to serve as the firm’s national health care leader, effective May 1, 2021. Hernandez succeeds Dan Vandenberghe who will retire from the firm in April 2022.

Hernandez is an experienced RSM enterprise leader who brings more than 25 years of public accounting and financial management expertise focused in the health care industry. He most recently served as a health care focused audit partner, the firm’s head of health care consulting, as well as the Southeast health care practice leader.

Miami-based Hernandez has successfully served, and will continue to serve, a variety of health care clients focused on all key sectors, including hospitals and health systems, physician practices, senior care, behavioral health and telehealth.
Hernandez earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from MacMurray College.
