RSM Enhances National Life Sciences Team with Addition of Four Sector Leaders

CHICAGO – (June 10, 2021) – RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – announced that Nancy Aubrey, Maggie Berkeley and Mike Romano have been named RSM’s national biopharma sector co-leaders and Keith Wallace has been named life science services sector leader.

As sector leaders, Aubrey, Berkeley, Romano and Wallace serve on the firm’s national life sciences leadership team. They are focused on developing professionals aligned to the industry, expanding RSM’s capabilities and bringing relevant industry insights and perspectives to RSM’s clients.

Aubrey is a risk consulting services partner who has more than 30 years of audit and business advisory experience. She is the RSM Boston life sciences market leader and risk consulting services practice leader. Aubrey has extensive expertise in risk management, internal controls, Sarbanes-Oxley, SOC reporting, operational and process auditing, and financial statement audits. She earned a Bachelor of Sciences in business administration – accounting from the University of Vermont.

Berkeley is a principal in RSM’s risk consulting practice and has more than 13 years of experience leading engagements focused on assisting clients in preparing for and implementing control improvements required by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. She has also worked with organizations to build out their internal audit function and lead teams to execute internal audits across a variety of areas. Berkeley graduated with a Bachelor of Science in corporate communication from Ithaca College.

Romano is a partner in RSM’s technology consulting practice and the life sciences market leader in Pennsylvania. He has more than 30 years of diverse experience in both the life sciences industry and as an audit, tax, and business consultant. Romano earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance from Drexel University.

Wallace is an audit partner and serves as chair of the RSM Global Audit Center of Excellence as well as the RSM US international audit practice leader. In these roles, he works with RSM US leadership, international engagement teams and RSM International member firms to continually enhance global service capabilities for clients. He has significant experience working with global CRO and life sciences companies. Wallace has more than 30 years of public accounting experience. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Western Kentucky University.
