CHICAGO – (September 2, 2021) – RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – was recently ranked No. 1 on Accounting Today’s annual listing of the top 100 Value-Added Resellers (VARs). This is the seventh year that RSM has earned the No.1 ranking on the VAR 100 list.
“It’s once again a great honor to be at the top of such an impressive list,” said Matt Kenney, business applications leader with RSM US LLP. “This recognition demonstrates that our teams, combined with our strong relationships with Microsoft, Oracle NetSuite, Salesforce, ServiceNow and Sage Intacct, were able to help our clients overcome the host of challenges they faced over the last year and pursue new opportunities to help their businesses succeed.”
RSM has recently made major investments in its business applications services, including last year’s acquisition of Salesforce consulting partner MondayCall LLC and acquisition of the ServiceNow practice of Rego Consulting, to further cement its position as the middle market VAR leader.
“We’re thrilled to be recognized for our success in this area, and grateful for everything our people do to help our clients,” said Kenney. “We believe that by encompassing an inclusive, award-winning culture, our clients benefit from an exceptional team that is engaged and empowered.”
In Accounting Today’s article on the VAR 100, the publication recognized the increase in demand for cloud services brought about by the pandemic. The publication reported that the VARs on the list provided essential lifelines to clients that wouldn’t have made it through without their accountant and technology partners.
RSM continued its leading VAR role, helping clients survive the challenges of 2020 and capitalize on the benefits that cloud technology presents. In addition, RSM identified opportunities to help clients in pandemic-affected industries, including life sciences.
“The awareness of health topics led to increased investment in life sciences,” Brian Becker, consulting leader with RSM US LLP, told Accounting Today. “We were able to help many of those organizations quickly put internal systems in place to support their research. This trend included governments putting increased investment in public health case management, which resulted in opportunities for RSM to support those large projects.”
RSM’s purpose is to deliver the power of being understood to our clients, colleagues and communities through world-class audit, tax and consulting services focused on middle market businesses. The clients we serve are the engine of global commerce and economic growth, and we are focused on developing leading professionals and services to meet their evolving needs in today’s ever-changing business environment.
