Jerry Martin Named Chair of RSM US LLP's Board of Directors, Three New Board Members Selected

CHICAGO – (December 1, 2020) – RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation's leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – recently announced that Jerry Martin succeeds Matt Bradvica as chair of the RSM US LLP Board of Directors for a one-year term effective Dec. 1, 2020. Bradvica has served as chair since Dec. 1, 2019. In addition, three new board members—John Bird, Beth Johnson and Darcy Wilson-Jones – have been elected to serve four-year terms, beginning Dec. 1, 2020.

“During the past year, Matt has brought leadership to the many issues and opportunities facing our firm and middle market executives throughout the pandemic,” said Joe Adams, managing partner and CEO with RSM US LLP. “At the same time, he has also helped us look toward the future, including assessing the impact of technology, regulatory and global developments. We are excited about the global perspective Jerry will bring as board chair. He also will focus our firm on continuing to harness technology to work effectively in a virtual environment that enhances the talent experience for our people, brings innovation and efficiency to how we serve our clients, and accelerates our momentum as the first-choice advisor to middle market leaders globally. I’m looking forward to working with Jerry in his new role.”

Martin was selected by a vote of the members of the RSM US LLP Board of Directors.

Jerry Martin specializes in advising global businesses and is the national leader of the firm’s international tax practice, a member of the firm’s tax leadership team and leads the tax global strategy team. Martin is also a member of the RSM executive office’s global tax leadership team and focuses on working with RSM’s global teams to build capabilities to serve our client’s global tax planning and compliance needs. He began his career with RSM in January 1995 and rejoined the firm in 2003 after five years with a public company. Upon rejoining RSM, Martin has specialized in international tax services for globally active businesses.

“I look forward to working with Joe and the board in delivering on our vision as the first-choice advisors to middle market leaders globally,” said Martin. “We have tremendous opportunity to help global middle market clients be successful and to provide our colleagues with the tools and opportunity to reach their full potential in a healthy environment. We are experiencing an acceleration of technology-enabled services and the ways in which we communicate in this digital revolution, and businesses are evolving and reimagining their operating plans in a virtual environment. We can expect challenges in the current pandemic environment. By caring for each other, focusing our global resources to lead the middle market, and remaining agile, we will deliver the power of being understood to our clients, colleagues and communities. Thanks to Joe and his team’s leadership, we have a strong values-based culture as a firm foundation to build upon.”
