Key findings from the 2019 100 Best Companies Data Snapshot:
RSM understands and celebrates the unique value that each person brings to its workplace. Earlier this summer, for example, the firm’s Family First employee network group recognized the firm’s Working Mother and Father of the Year, Michele DeVito and Patrick McConnell, for successfully managing personal and professional priorities, providing exceptional experiences for the firm’s clients and its people, and serving as mentors and role models.
“We are thrilled to be included on this list for the 13th year,” said Katie Lamkin, chief talent officer with RSM US LLP. “We understand the importance of making all of our people feel included and understood, and one way we do that is by providing them with meaningful benefits, including flexibility in how, when and where they work. While our people are some of the best professionals I’ve ever known, they also have commitments outside of the workplace, and we want to help them balance both their work and their personal lives.”
“Parents are speaking out more than ever before about what they need to succeed at work and at home, and employers are paying attention,” said Meredith Bodgas, editor-in-chief of Working Mother. “By implementing family-friendly policies such as flexible schedules, paid parental leave, post-leave phase-back periods and mentoring programs, our 100 Best Companies are taking the needs of their employees into consideration in order to create a supportive, inclusive and productive environment.”
